Not a bad premiere. Didn't quite end the way I was expecting, but still excited!

Hard to believe it's been over eight years since I started watching this "show for little girls".

In that time, I've changed careers, gotten engaged, and gotten married. My how time flies.

So let's go, gang. Once more around the bend.

But seriously, after a few seasons that were honestly a bit meh personally, I think this final season will be a great way to end the show.

1.) As of this weekend, I managed to catch up with the entirety of Season 9 so far (I haven't watched the premiere until Friday, and I saw the other two episodes on Saturday night). So for the first time in a long time, I am officially up to date with the show, AND haven't been spoiled on upcoming details! That means I can be more engrossed in the show, and can do things like my next announcement...

2.) Expect to see something unexpected this morning. ;)

We all saw the season 9 premiere, and while I believed it was good. The return of King Sombra is bitter sweet. It is like a completely new character from what we have seen of him prior. The truth is I don't think the writers of the show know what to do with the character and cause of it we get a cliche and snobbish version of Sombra in season 9 that is completely different from what we seen in the past.
